The Lancaster Village Merchants Association (LVMA) brings together businesses in and around the Village of Lancaster to strengthen our downtown, drive foot traffic, and support a thriving local business community.
Formed in the fall of 2022 by a small group of Village business owners, the LVMA’s purpose is simple: collaborate, pool resources, and create a stronger, more visible business district. By working together, LVMA members help shape the future identity of the Village of Lancaster business community.
Why Join the LVMA?
As a member, you will:
- Join an established nonprofit business organization committed to supporting Village businesses.
- Participate in the planning and execution of LVMA-sponsored community events.
- Be included in LVMA marketing initiatives that encourage residents and visitors to shop, dine, and enjoy local businesses.
- Stay informed on upcoming events, promotions, and Village development projects.
- Have a voice in determining the future of the downtown business district (for levels that include voting rights).
- Benefit from the continued revitalization and increased foot traffic brought into the Village.
Membership Levels
Level 1 – Active Member (Downtown Business District)
Dues: $100 for the first year, then $150/year
Eligibility: Businesses located within the Downtown Business District (DBD)
Voting Rights: Full voting rights
Benefits Include:
- Inclusion in LVMA marketing and event communications
- Increased exposure from Village events held within the DBD
- Full visibility on LVMA media (business profile, photos, features, etc.)
- LVMA window decal
- Complimentary vendor or information booth space at LVMA-sponsored events
Level 2 – Active Member (Outside Downtown Business District)
Dues: $100/year
Eligibility: Businesses located outside the DBD
Voting Rights: Full voting rights
Benefits Include:
- Inclusion in LVMA marketing and event communications
- Full visibility on LVMA media (business profile, photos, features, etc.)
- LVMA window decal
- Complimentary vendor or information booth space at LVMA-sponsored events
Level 3 – Supporting Member
Dues: $65/year
Eligibility: Businesses located outside the DBD
Voting Rights: None
Benefits Include:
- Supporting member listing on LVMA media
- LVMA window decal
- Ability to attend general membership meetings for updates and information
Member Involvement Discount
Active members who serve on an LVMA committee or hold an officer position for one full year are eligible for a $25 membership discount for that year.
