About

Festive night parade with crowds

The Lancaster Village Merchants Association (LVMA) exists to strengthen, support, and promote the businesses that make our Village unique. For decades, Lancaster has been built on the hard work of local shop owners, service providers, and community-minded entrepreneurs. LVMA carries that tradition forward by giving merchants a unified voice and a shared platform to grow.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple:
To champion the success of Lancaster Village businesses and enhance the vitality of our local community.

We do this by fostering collaboration, organizing events that bring people downtown, promoting our merchants across digital and print channels, and advocating for a thriving business environment.

Who We Serve

LVMA represents a diverse group of merchants including:

  • Independent retailers
  • Professional service providers
  • Restaurants, cafés, and food establishments
  • Health, wellness, and personal care businesses
  • Community organizations and specialty shops

Every business—large or small—plays a meaningful role in shaping the character of the Village. LVMA helps unite these voices into one cohesive network.

What We Do

Promote Local Business

We highlight the value of shopping locally and help member businesses reach new audiences through online visibility, featured promotions, and shared marketing opportunities.

Strengthen Community Connections

Through Village-wide events, seasonal celebrations, and cross-business collaborations, LVMA supports the foot traffic and energy that keep our downtown vibrant.

Provide Member Support

Members receive access to helpful resources, networking opportunities, and a direct channel for collaboration with fellow merchants. From marketing guidance to event participation, we ensure every business feels supported.

Advocate for the Village

We work with community partners, local officials, and regional organizations to ensure the needs of merchants are heard and addressed. A strong Village benefits everyone.

Our Commitment to the Village

Lancaster’s charm comes from the people who pour their passion into their businesses every day. LVMA is committed to safeguarding that spirit while encouraging smart growth, improved visibility, and new opportunities for the future.

We believe a healthy Village core fuels a healthy community — and we’re proud to play a part in that effort.

Join Us
